This Keto Nachos is to die for and can be eaten by the entire Whanau. It is cheap to make and will not disappoint. It is a favourite in our house. If you like a bit of spice, add more curry powder and feel the burn!
Ingredients
500g mince (or your chosen meat)
1 can of diced tomatoes
1T curry powder
2t malt vinegar
1tsp sweetener
2c grated cheese
1T olive oil
1t onion powder
2t garlic
Toppings of your choice (sour cream, avocado, keto sweet chilli sauce)
Method
Fry garlic and onion powder in olive oil on medium heat.
Add mince to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, until it is starting to brown.
Add canned tomatoes, malt vinegar, sweetener and curry powder to the mince. The mixture will have quite a bit of liquid.
Once the liquid and mince start to boil turn the heat down to low.
Continue to simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed.
Once your mince is ready, take off the heat and spoon over keto corn chips or cheese chips.
Add your favourite toppings. Cheese, avocado, sour cream and keto sweet chilli sauce.
The mince is so versatile, you can use it for chilli con Carne or in lettuce cups. You can make nacho chips out of cheese. Quest does amazing nacho chips.
