These sausage rolls are to die for and you will be in love! They are made using fathead pizza dough and the good old kiwi favourite - the banger.
Ingredients
16 raw sausages (whatever flavour your heart desires)
40g full-fat cream cheese
175g grated mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1t baking powder
1t garlic powder
100g almond meal
Method
Preheat oven to 180c and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Put grated mozzarella and cream cheese in a microwavable bowl and heat on high for 1 minute and 10 seconds.
Once mozzarella and cream cheese is melted use a butter knife to mix them.
Add baking powder to your melted cheese mixture
Add egg and stir.
Add garlic powder and the almond meal.
Mix with a butter knife to form a dough.
Roll out your fathead dough onto the lined baking sheet
place the sausages onto the rolled-out dough. Place four onto the top and the remaining four into the bottom row. Make sure they are evenly spaced.
Cut even squares into the dough, around your sausages.
Wrap the cut dough squares around each sausage.
Cut your 6 wrapped sausages in half. You now have 12 tasty morsels!
Place evenly onto your lined baking tray.
Place into oven and cook between 15-20 minutes
Enjoy your sausage rolls. You will not be disappointed. This is by far one of my favourite Keto recipes.
