Keto low-carb recipe

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • 2 C cream

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup keto-friendly  chocolate 

  • 4 egg yolks 

  • 1/3 C keto-friendly sweetener

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

  1. Add cream, butter, coconut oil, and chocolate chips to a saucepan. Heat on medium heat.   

  2. Heat for about 10 minutes until the chocolate has melted.  Whisk a couple of times.

  3. Mix eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Slowly add the hot mixture to the egg yolk mixture and stir together.

  4. Heat for about 10 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Whisk every few minutes.

  5. Pour mixture into a slice pan. Cover with plastic shrink wrap. Make sure the wrap touches the custard. This will prevent skin development on the top of the custard

  6. Refrigerate for about 4 hours. 

This is a delicious, velvety, smooth chocolate treat.  Perfect for keto or low-carb. It's hard to believe something this good can be healthy!
