Keto Spag Bol

Tasty and comforting. You will love this spag bol. The amazing thing about keto is that most things that are made from scratch can fit into a keto lifestyle, with no nasty sugars and additives! This is a cheap family dinner. I purchased five kilos of mince when it was on special for $9.99


This recipe makes 8 servings

  • 1 Kg of mince

  • 2 tsp of crushed garlic

  • 2 tsp of Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp of beef stock powder

  • 1 tsp brown keto sweetener

  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes

  • 1 Tbsp of olive oil

  • 1 C of grated cheese

  • 2 tsp of tomato contrate

  • keto noodles/pasta


  1. Fry garlic in olive oil on medium heat until the garlic softens.

  2. Add mince to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, until it is starting to brown.

  3. Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, sweetener, Italian seasoning and beef stock to the mince. The mixture will have quite a bit of liquid.

  4. Once the liquid and mince start to boil, turn the heat down to low.

  5. Continue simmering on low heat for about 15 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed.

  6. Once your mince is ready, take off the heat and spoon over keto noodles or pasta.

  7. Add your grated cheese.

This is a cheap and comforting spag bol that can be adapted for the entire Whanau. Make an extra batch and keep it in the freezer.
